Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad: The Pakistani nation is celebrating the 74th Independence Day with enthusiasm today. Fireworks and firing started in different cities at 12 o’clock, youths started holding rallies and throwing bhangras.
On the occasion of Independence Day, green crescent flags are flying everywhere, buildings, streets and houses are decorated with electric lamps, flags and banners. Children and adults all look painted in the same color.
The Independence Day celebrations in the provincial capitals began with a grand ceremony. Soldiers saluted with 21 cannons. He also chanted slogans of Allah Akbar and long live Pakistan. At the end of the ceremony, prayers were offered for the security of the country.
Fireworks started in different cities at midnight and firing also took place which injured 4 people including a woman in Karachi.
As soon as the Independence Day celebrations began, large numbers of young people took to the streets across the country, chanting “Long live Pakistan” and dancing in the streets.
A spectacular fireworks display was held at Minar Pakistan in Lahore which was already attended by a large number of people with their families. Manchals danced to the beat of drums and threw bhangras.
Fireworks were set off at various places in Karachi and national anthems were played. Events were held in the city, young people turned to Sea View while stopping and dancing.
A spectacular fireworks display was held at North Nazimabad Five Star Chowrangi. Federal Minister Ali Zaidi and leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement were also present on the occasion. The fireworks were organized by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Thousands of people were present at the five-star intersection.
Fireworks were set off at various places in Hyderabad and people chanted slogans in favor of the country and the nation.
